feelin that one mate. I fucking loooove the bass sound you get. Lovely and deep but still clear and punchy.
Any tips for getting those low but clear sounds? Mine tend to get muddy the lower in pitch I go. I use Alien 303 for the most part myself. What you driving?

i use the sylenth 1 for the basslines john
usually the moog bass preset is fine
just tweak the cutoff and velocity on the bottom right to get it right
in the filter section turn down the resonance all the way
mess around with the oscillator volume in a1 until it gets in time with the beat,
id use a nice compressor then anything by waves works for me like the c4
if im using lower noter id just stick a nick eq on it and bring up the higher freqs to get the nice farty sounds

I dinnae have Sylenth but nice tip on the OSC vol. It fuckin sure works for you!

Been using the reverb a wee bit myself but I'm heavy handed as oul fuck with reverb so I'm learning how to "wind my neck in" with it atm. I like it pretty dry though (like my Metal)so one day, if my wee lad ever decides to go to bed on time I might just get a wee tweak with it
